11 Brave Girls, One Beautiful Step of Faith

Today was one of those days I’ll never forget.

Eleven girls—each carrying stories of pain, trauma, doubt, and deep shame—chose Jesus and were baptized at ZOE’s swimming pool.

These aren’t just numbers. These are our girls. Girls who’ve faced what no child ever should. Girls who have wrestled with whether they could ever be fully loved, fully forgiven, fully new.

And today, they stood in front of a crowd of witnesses and declared with joy and boldness that they belong to Jesus.

I wish you could’ve seen their smiles as they came up out of the water—pure, radiant, free. The cheers from the crowd echoed like heaven rejoicing.

I’m especially proud of our NextGen team. They’ve walked alongside these girls, discipled them, listened to their questions, cried with them, prayed over them. Today’s baptisms are the fruit of their faithfulness, and I couldn’t be more honored to serve with them.

What a reminder that healing is possible. Redemption is real. And the Gospel is still transforming lives.

God is so, so good.
