One Year Ago...

One year ago…

The flood came fast.

We waded out through chest-high water, leaving behind almost everything... our SUV, our kitchen and appliances, all 1st floor furniture, Justice's toy room, and the memories… all underwater.

It was one of the hardest seasons of my life. I’ll never forget watching Justice’s little face trying to make sense of it all.

But I’ll also never forget what happened next... how you guys rallied. Family, friends, churches, and even strangers gave, prayed, and helped us start again.

Because of you, we found a new home.

Because of you, we’re still standing.

Today, our house is full of peace, laughter, and new memories.

We still miss what was lost, but we’re so thankful for what God has rebuilt.
