Standing Firm in Faith – A NextGen Testimony

Last month in our NextGen small groups, we taught about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refusing to bow to an idol. We challenged the kids to think about what standing firm looks like in their own lives.

One of our 11-year-old girls shared how her teacher at school pressured her to bow before a Buddha image and told her "God isn’t real". The teacher even threatened that the Christian club might be shut down if she didn’t comply.

But instead of arguing, our girl quietly walked away. Even when the teacher scolded her, she chose to stand firm in her faith without bowing.

This is why we do what we do in NextGen... teaching, discipling, and encouraging these precious kids to own their faith and live it out boldly.

Please keep praying for my NextGen team as they minister to these young believers.
