Power of Prayer

One of my team members recently shared this beautiful moment after a time of prayer with one of our teen boys. He had been concerned about this young man’s emotional growth and how closed off he often was.

But on this particular night, something shifted.

After praying together, they talked. And for the first time, this boy didn’t say “I’m fine” or pretend everything was okay. He opened up and admitted he was feeling lost, sad, and confused.

That simple but powerful act of acknowledging his emotions was a huge step forward. It may seem small, but for a child who’s lived through trauma, it’s a sign of healing.

We thank God for moments like these—when hearts begin to soften, emotions begin to surface, and healing begins to take root.

Please keep praying for our kids.

Your prayers matter more than you know.
